Netgear Fast Ethernet Switch Is It Possible To Gain Internet Connection With This PC + PS3 + ETHNT Switch?

Is it possible to gain internet connection with this PC + PS3 + ETHNT switch? - netgear fast ethernet switch

I try my PC to my PS3 at the same time on the network (actually, my wife wants to join the network, as in the game) I have connected a Netgear FS605 Fast Ethernet switch V2 to a DSL modem, but it seems to assume.
- Do not expect much from poor lil-switch?
- It's not really the internet connection between an Ethernet switch to a different machine?
- I want a different hardware to do this a little?

You need to connect a router to a DSL modem.

Here you can change the custom, since DSL modem to allow the authentication to have to get in touch. The router stores the user name and password for the modem.

This is very easy if you have any further questions, please just do it.

Finally, get almost what you need. A change you can connect only two devices. Your cheapest way to both online and receive a second Ethernet card to get (or wireless) to your PC and set it as a gateway for home network:

---- ---- DSL Modem PC Switch / Hub ---- PS3
or
DSL Modem PC --- (((wireless as an access point))) PS3

A router is a device that is similar to the center, but it is the gateway / router integrated software, so no need to use the PC as a gateway.

If you have defined in this way, you should always have on your PC when you connect your PS3, or anything else connected to the switch / access point.

When I was in college, all we need to make a connection in a residence, the share was changed because the building a team of more "upstream" had (I think it was in the basement, actually) that acts as a gateway. From your DSL modem is actually the end of its course, has more to act as a gateway.

You need a router to the DSL modem, so you can have the modem that can run the luck ...
